Getting involved with fundraising
To maintain our vital free hospice care at home service within the local community, we need to raise around £700,000 every year. Our NHS grant covers just 6% of our costs – we need your help for the remaining 94%.There are many ways to get involved and help us raise funds. Whatever you decide to do, we’re here to help make your chosen activity a great success.
Create your own fundraising page
Whether you’re taking part in an organised event, celebrating a special occasion or remembering someone, you can set up your own online fundraising page with our partner, Enthuse: Visit Shipston Home Nursing’s Enthuse page. It’s free, fast and easy to use – just select ‘Fundraise for us’ in the menu bar, sign up and follow the instructions.

Fan of Facebook? Why not set up a Facebook fundraiser for a special occasion, anniversary or birthday to help raise funds for us and raise awareness of our service among your friends and family at the same time.

Organise or support local events
Have passion or skill you’re keen to promote for Shipston Home Nursing? We love to see people arranging their own events or challenges in aid of our charity. We organise a variety of local community events throughout the year including a sponsored 10k walk/run, plant sale, pop up shops and our annual Christmas gift fair. You can find details of our events here.
Schools, Clubs and Groups
Why not ask your school, club or society to organise a fundraising event in aid of Shipston Home Nursing? Non-uniform days, summer fetes and bucket shakes are always popular!
The possibilities are endless, with lots of simple ways to have fun and raise funds, so we can continue to provide free nursing care for patients and families facing incurable illnesses in their own homes.
