Plant Sales raise £15,820!
We’re delighted to announce that our plant sales raised a record-breaking £15,820 for Shipston Home Nursing!
The weekend of 9th and 10th May saw our SHN Plant Sales ‘pop up’ in villages around our community. Volunteers hosted stalls in Barcheston, Brailes, Cherington, Ettington, Great Wolford, Kineton, Long Compton, Shipston, Tysoe, Wellesbourne, Whatcote and Whichford and we had an amazing two days filled with sunshine, plants & produce.
On 23rd May, the ‘run away plant sale’ was held on the Green by Idlicote Pond.
Huge thanks to the NFU Mutual Central-South Warwickshire and Pershore for sponsoring the event and to all our plant suppliers – Upton Viva, Irene & Geoff, Quarry Nurseries, Wyatts Garden Centre & The Cotswold View Tearoom, The National Herb Centre, Natural Green Creative Spaces, Whichford Pottery, Kiftsgate Court Gardens, Daylesford, Turners of Shipston and everyone else who donated plants and produce.
And, of course, thank you to our incredible volunteers who distribute plants and host the stalls. This is an event that thrives from all your hard work and commitment, raising valuable funds for Shipston Home Nursing.
