What our supporters say
FAQs
What is 'hospice at home' care?
Hospices typically care for patients with a terminal illness. Hospices can begin supporting patients and their families from the point of diagnosis to the end of their life, however long that may be. A hospice at home service provides similar care to a traditional hospice but in a patient’s home, so they can be closer to family and loved ones and have more flexible support.
Who is eligible for Shipston Home Nursing hospice care?
Adults living with a terminal illness in our geographical area – Shipston, Wellesbourne, Kineton, Bidford and surrounding villages – are normally eligible for our support. Our care is provided free of charge regardless of your financial circumstances thanks to generous support from our community.
How do I access your services?
We accept referrals directly from patients or their families, carers, GPs or other health professionals. To request our support, please call us on 01608 664850 (8am – 4pm) or email us at [email protected].
