Supporting your patients
Shipston Home Nursing provides clinical, practical and emotional support for those living with a terminal illness who wish to die at home. We support patients living in or registered with a GP in Shipston, Wellesbourne, Kineton, Bidford and surrounding villages
Refer a patient
To refer a patient to Shipston Home Nursing for hospice at home care or bereavement counselling, you can:
- Refer via EMIS
- Call our nursing team on 01608 664850 (Office Hours) or on 07920 480392 (Duty Nurse Coordinator)
- Email us via [email protected]
We welcome referrals from anyone involved in a patient’s care, including patients and families themselves, GPs, district nurses and care home staff.
Working together
Our team of registered nurses and healthcare assistants (HCAs) provide:
- Personal care
- Symptom control and pain relief, working in partnership with GPs to administer medication as required
- Respite for families and carers, including night sits
- Practical support and assessment of equipment needs in partnership with district nurses
- Emotional support, including free counselling for patients and families
- Counselling services are available to adults across our patch who have experienced loss, regardless of whether they have previously received support from Shipston Home Nursing.
