A local company is supporting SHN by donating £1 of every sale to the Charity. Lucy Kirkman, who owns The Friendship Gift Company, is giving to the charity every time one of beautiful friendship bracelets is sold.
Lucy’s friendship bracelets with the Peace Jade bead, for example, are believed to bring tranquility, protection and serenity to the wearer.
A little boost from a friend, or the universe…
The beads in friendship bracelets are chosen for their beautiful appearance and striking colours. In addition, they are made from semi-precious gemstones and quartz that are believed to offer a variety of emotional and spiritual qualities and benefits.
For many thousands of years, gemstones and crystals have been used as talismans. Also, amulets to nurture, encourage and transform energies. And, they are also alleged to heal physical ailments and diseases.
Lucy said: “When someone you love is going through a difficult time, it can be hard to know how to help. So, that’s one of the reasons why we’ve created our Charity bracelets; to enable friends to support each other whilst making a difference to someone else’s life too. They are the perfect way to feel connected, supported and to show a friend that you are thinking of them.
“Our plan is to extend kindness and support to Charities that are important to us. Shipston Home Nursing offer such a valuable service to our local community and we wanted to support them however we could – by helping to raise awareness and by contributing with financial donation.”
