Leaving a gift in your will ensures that Shipston Home Nursing can continue to make a difference, not only now but in the future. 

When time is short, the quality of life becomes so precious. You can help us make every moment count with a gift in your will. Leaving a legacy gift to Shipston Home Nursing is an incredibly special gesture that will support families in the future. Your legacy, however big or small, could make a real difference to a family in years to come.

There are three different types of gifts in wills:

Family and friends first (residuary legacy)
We appreciate that caring for your family is a priority. However, after taking care of your loved ones in your will, you can leave a percentage of, or whatever is left in, your estate (the ‘residue’) to Shipston Home Nursing, either alone or alongside other charitable causes.

Cash gift (pecuniary legacy)
You could leave a fixed sum of money as a gift in your will. We are always very grateful for these cash gifts. However, it is worth noting that pecuniary gifts can devalue over time due to inflation, so it is a good idea to review your will regularly. 

Gift in kind (specific legacy)
You can choose to leave specific items in your will such as property, shares, jewellery, or furniture.
