SUMMARY:October Walk for SHN
DESCRIPTION:Join John and his fellow walkers in Longborough this Thursday\, 8th October.\n\nAs the evenings are drawing in\, please meet at the ‘Coach and Horses’ for a prompt start at 5.45pm.\n\n\n\nIt’s a circular walk as we set off along the Heart of England Way in the direction of Sezincote House. Depending on the evening the walk will be almost as far as Bourton on the Hill before turning back past Upper Rye Farm and back to the pub. If the weather is less clement we will follow a shorter loop\, cutting the walk in half.\n\n\n\nPlease let John know by email or text ( john.dudbridge@yahoo.com / 07507 312239) no later than 6pm on Monday 5th October whether you intend to join the walk and if you would like to stay to eat at the pub after. The menu changes each Tuesday\, so a copy of the menu will be sent to everyone Tuesday afternoon to ask for your choices by Thursday morning.\n\n\n\nThank you

SUMMARY:Walton Hall 10k Fun Run / Walk
DESCRIPTION:With thanks to our sponsors              Our annual 10k at Walton Hall returns this October! It’s a fantastic fundraiser for Shipston Home Nursing\, and helps us to raise awareness of the charity within our community. Whether you’re a keen runner or prefer a leisurely countryside walk\, this is the perfect event for you. \n\n\n\nWalton Hall is a 16th century mansion set in 65 acres of glorious countryside overlooking a lake. Walk or run the route through nearby woods\, into the village of Walton and back to the Hall. \n\n\n\nOnce again\, we will be offering electronic race timing for runners and the all-important bacon (or vegetarian) roll at the finish line for all entrants! \n\n\n\nEnter as an individual\, or gather a group of friends or colleagues to enter as a team. When you register you can also set up your own fundraising page which enables friends and family to support you and Shipston Home Nursing.  \n\n\n\nRegistration from 8.45am – Start 10am \n\n\n\nOnline entries are now closed. Our registration desks will be open for on-the-day entries from 8.45 am on Sunday \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: This event is cross country with sections of road. \n\n\n\nSet in the grounds of Walton Hall Hotel by kind permission of Sir Andrew Hamilton and Walton Hall. \n\n\n\nRoute subject to change depending on weather conditions. \n\n\n\nAll children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. \n\n\n\nThis event is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are welcome but on a lead please. \n\n\n\nShipston Home Nursing will be taking photographs at this event. These images will be used by Shipston Home Nursing to share news about the event\, and to publicise our future fundraising events. Images may be used in press releases\, printed publicly and published on the Shipston Home Nursing website. They will be stored securely\, and we will delete them after they are no longer needed for publicity purposes.
