September Walk for SHN

Join Elizabeth Searle and her fellow walkers on Thursday 10th September. Back in July we had to postpone the proposed Ilmington walk as it was far too hot to climb the hill – so it’s time to try again! As the evenings are already getting dark earlier please meet in the Howard Arms car park at 5.45pm for a prompt start no later than 6pm.

The walk starts with a fairly steep climb (which will be taken slowly) up to Pig Lane. From there it is a relatively flat walk across and down the hill, with far reaching views on both sides.  Anyone not keen on the hill can meet at a point on Pig Lane – which will be explained on the day.
