2026 TCS London Marathon
The 2026 TCS London Marathon is back on Sunday 26 April 2026, and Shipston Home Nursing have four runners in the race! Two of our supporters will be running with SHN charity places, and two with ballot places.

Nick Rew
Nick is a longstanding SHN volunteer and we’re so delighted, and extremely grateful, that he’s taking on this amazing challenge for us.
‘Shipston Home Nursing was the only choice for my fundraising efforts. I have volunteered for several decades (my wife Sue doing the lion’s share, I’ll admit!) and they are a great team with great volunteers all dedicated to hospice care at home in South Warwickshire, an area I have lived and worked in most of my adult life. So, I’ll get on my trainers and remember why I’m doing it! Any support you can give would make it all worthwhile!’
Kate & Chris Bamford
Kate is our Head of Fundraising & Communications and was very fortunate to get a ballot place in the 2026 London Marathon. She’ll be joined by her husband Chris who many of you will have seen helping out at our events!
‘We can’t wait to take part in 2026 and raise funds for Shipston Home Nursing.
We know it’s going to be a challenge, but it couldn’t be for a more worthwhile charity. The training is in full swing and we’re hoping to raise as much money as we can!’
Lottie Craven
Lottie is running the London Marathon in memory of her grandad, Tony, who was cared for by Shipston Home Nursing. Thank you Lottie!
