What may be needed…

To receive the correct level of support and nursing at home, patients will sometimes require the use of equipment such as a hospital bed or a pressure relieving mattress or cushion.

If a patient is under the care of the District Nurses and / or an Occupational Therapist, equipment will normally be ordered by them and delivered to the patients home and, where applicable, assembled by the delivering supplier.

Generally, all equipment is provided free of charge to the patient and paid for by the NHS.

Shipston Home Nursing cannot supply equipment but will provide ‘consumable’ items such as disposable gloves and protective clothing for our Nurses and HCA’s.
