Join our Christmas Concert Choir

Whether you’re already part of a choir or simply enjoy singing your heart out in the shower, why not join our festive concert choir? Conducted by musical director, Julian Harris, the choir will meet for the first time on the afternoon of the concert.

The rehearsal will take place at Holy Trinity from 3.30pm – 5.30pm on Saturday 7th December. Choir tickets cost £10 for adults and are free for under 16s. Further details from Julian are here:

‘For those of you who sang last year we have made one or two tiny tweaks to make the day run more smoothly.

As you can see, we are going to start a little earlier so we are not rushed at the end of the rehearsal. When you arrive in church we will have all the music ready in an individual pack for you. Please bring an A4 file (preferably black) in which to slot the music you need.  Please also bring your Carols for Choirs, Book 1, (Green!) as well. 

The repertoire will once again be standard Christmas fare, but if you sign up we will be sending out two carols a week beforehand for you to print and take a look at. These will be the Nativity Carol by John Rutter and The Crown of the Year by Guy Woolfenden.  

Your support was amazing last year so thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am sure there will be even more happy vocalists joining us this year as we raised over £9,000 for charity!’
