The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England and makes sure that health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care. With effect from 1st July 2017 the hospice at home service previously provided by a Trust known as Shipston Home Nursing is delivered by a charitable incorporated body also known as Shipston Home Nursing. The new entity is approved and monitored by the CQC but has not yet been formally inspected and therefore no current inspection report is available.
