Join our fantastic group of dedicated volunteers and help us support more people with free hospice at home care. We are always looking for new people to join our team – and just a few hours of your time will make a huge difference.
Whatever your skills or availability, we can find the right volunteering opportunity to suit you. Some of our volunteers help on a regular basis, while others support as and when they have time or for a specific event that they’re interested in.
Volunteering your way
Volunteering takes many forms, from organising and delivering events, liaising with sponsors, sourcing donations, baking cakes and even providing admin or marketing support.
Whatever your contribution, you will be playing a vital role in helping Shipston Home Nursing continue its free hospice at home service, supporting patients and loved ones through what can be an incredibly challenging time.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is both enjoyable and rewarding.
It’s a great way to meet new people in a supportive and friendly environment. It can also be a good way to build your confidence or develop new skills, particularly for younger volunteers or those who may be looking to re-enter the workplace.
At Shipston Home Nursing, we always ask our volunteers what they would enjoy doing. Perhaps you like the idea of helping out at our annual Christmas Gift Fair, or being part of the golf day, or maybe you would prefer to bake a cake for an event or help us run the registration desk at our 10k fun run.
Our volunteers are typically based within our local community and bring a mix of ages and backgrounds which allows us to benefit from a wide range of ideas and skills. Fancy joining our team?
